SORS 2026
The BRCA 10th Off-Road Scottish Section invite you to join us for another exciting year of buggy racing in Scotland!
The series is open to drivers of all ages and abilities offers the chance to race against and learn from some of the country’s best drivers. The rounds will be hosted at three of Scotland’s clubs:
Race Calendar
Round 1 - 19th April 2026 @ Dumfries
Round 2 - 24th May 2026 @ Stonehaven
Round 3 - 16th June 2026 @ Glasgow
Round 4 - 19th July 2026 @ Stonehaven
Round 5 - 16th August 2026 @ Dumfries
Round 6 - 6th September 2026 @ Glasgow
The winner of each Championship will be the driver that has the best 4 from 6 overall scores, that is of the six rounds of each class, your best four scores will go towards your overall Championship position and your 2027 Formula grade.
Be aware that digital images and video may be taken at these events and used to promote the Sport or Events.
Format
Each racer will see the following for each car entered:
A normal race day will roughly follow these timings for ten heats:
Booking in Opens at 7:45
Drivers Briefing at 8:15
Practice Round 1 at 09:00
Qualifying Round 1 at 10:00
Qualifying Round 2 at 11:20
Qualifying Round 3 at 12:40
Qualifying Round 4 at 14:00
Finals at 15:30
Prize Giving 17:00
Note that this schedule can vary depending on the number of entries and the weather.
Entries
Refunds will not be given after the closing date for any confirmed entries that are cancelled, other than for exceptional circumstance
Confirmation of entry for all events will be communicated nearer the time, with further details of the venue.

The permitted REAR tyres this year will be at the discretion of the organising club and this will be announced prior to the round taking place.
